While novel to look at, i think the game has serious problems. (just fyi I am no newbie to tetris, I frequently make it to the world top 100 boards)

To start with, it’s ridiculously hard to play by most standards. A standard tetris game has a 10 by 20 game board. This one has a 6 by 7 board, making it nearly impossible to score a tetris(4 line clear).

The giant joystick also poses a problem. It’s weight causes it to bounce back when tapped either side, like an upside down pendulum, causing the bricks to shift left and right.

At $1.50 or $2.00 a game (I can’t remember), It isn’t exactly competitively priced, especially since tetrisfriends.com, the official tetris site, provides a far richer online multiplayer experience for free.

Until tetris comes back to regular game cabinets, I’ll be playing tetris at home.
