This is whole article that I sent to Zone X contact by mail.
Hello,
I’d like to inform you a new version of Pump It Up that will come out soon. (I’m ardent PUMPer)
The new version of Pump it Up,
which the title is ‘Pump It Up the FIESTA’
is totally different from any other version of Pump It Up, and its even more fascinating than any version of DDR.
The new version of Pump It Up contains:
USB Storing System:
The users can put ANY Thumb USB drives to store their data.
Various Missions:
From the version ‘ZERO’, Pump It Up accumulated lots of missions(total 700 in version NXA, which is the last version before the PIU FIESTA)
Now, players can store their data easily(the data storing system has been existed from NX2, but it was not user-friendly) and accumulate their mileage.
Level System:
As the player plays this game again and again, the player gets Experiment Point to get level up.
As the player level up, the player can get more various plays.
Command Window
Different from previous versions of Pump It Up, this version supports Command Window, which makes player set the setting easier.
Now players do not need to memorize all commands. Just one command to bring ‘Command Window’ will do all things up.
Command for bringing Command Window : ↙↘↙↘↙↘
Two different modes and several sub-modes:
For preventing the beginners get into the wrong(hard) mode and fail at 1st stage,
this version does not allows users to get higher level of play at first.
Advanced or Maniac users can put their thumb USB drive, or put a special command(↙↖□↗↘↗□↖↙) to get into Full Mode which contains everything.
Sub Modes:
Full Song(About 4 min)
Remix (About 3 min)
Normal (About 2 min)
Shortcut (About 1 min)
For each credit, user is given 4 tokens.
Full song uses whole 4 tokens,
Remix uses 3 tokens,
Normal uses 2 tokens,
Shortcut uses 1 token.
If the player gets rank A or better on each play, the player gets half of used tokens back.
(ex: If a player clears Full Song with rank A, then the remaining credit is 2, which makes the player able to play one Normal song or two Shortcut songs.)
*Remix returns only 1 token back when the player get rank A or better.
*Shortcut returns no token whatever the rank that player got is.
For 2 players play, this game supports Battle Mode.
There are 7 different Battle modes.
